About the Founder
Vanshika Sangla
Vanshika Sangla is a student at Daly College, Indore, where she studies Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Computers, Hindi, English Literature and Economics. To pursue her academic interest in Mathematics further, she is also taking an advanced mathematics course offered by the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University.
She is very passionate about children and women’s education and development through grassroots interventions. In addition to her work with HandsOn, she has been volunteering with Khushi, an NGO based in Indore, since December 2021. As part of her work with the NGO, she has been teaching Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English to children from underprivileged communities. Vanshika also engages in various extracurricular activities outside of academics. Her interests include playing the piano, participating in MUNs and debating. She also enjoys the visual arts and likes to paint and experiment with different media.
